2009 BMW R1200RTP Police Motorcycle in excellent condition (near perfect), unmolested and with only 25k original miles on it!!! Previously a Beverly Hills cop bike and recently modified for funeral escorting with 4 additional bright amber LED strobe lights and 4 bright white LED lane splitting lights. This is a fast, smooth, and comfortable ride that everyone gets out of the way for, when they see you coming. Great for security, escorting, or just commuting and not having to be worried about not being seen. It has been the best bike I have every had to commute on. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
BSB Superstock Championship Winning BMW S1000RR Stolen
Mon, 26 Sep 2011British Superbike racer Richard Cooper’s BMW S1000RR racebike was stolen mere hours after winning the 2011 British national Superstock title. Thieves reportedly broke into the Buildbase BMW race team’s truck after it returned to the team’s base in Leicestershire, England, from the series-clinching round at Britain’s Silverstone circuit. According to the team, thieves optained the keys to a van holding Cooper’s winning motorcycle and Superbike class racer John Laverty’s BMW S1000RR Superbike.
BMW Announces Returning 2013 Models – All with ABS Standard
Fri, 06 Jul 2012BMW announced eight models returning for 2013, all receiving new colors and ABS as standard. Beyond that, the most notable news is what models have not been announced. The returning 2013 BMW models include the F800R, the G650GS, the R1200R, the S1000RR, the K1300S, the K1300R, the K1600GT and K1600GTL.
