Painted in RAF blue back in the 1970's. In excellent overall condition with many new parts, and mechanical restoration. Top end engine has new standard sized piston, rings, rebuilt carburetor and new fuel pet cocks, clutch, valve job and cylinder honing. New brake, clutch, and spark advance and throttle cables.Solid, clean tank interior. New Dunlop tires, wiring harness, new battery and battery box, Pannier rack, original operator's guide book dated 1944 and reproduction parts and maintenance manuals. Presently, this bike has not been driven since engine rebuild. One Mag/Dyno has been sent out to a Mag shop in FLA and awaiting return. Additionally Mag/Dyno #2 is on the bike. Tool roll with extra tools will be provided and an original WD (War Dept) rear tire. Additional equipment will include, military 6x30 binoculars in case with broad arrow markings and soldiers pickmattock. Hand tire pump.Serial # on front fender black plate is the original War Dept. assigned number.  Excellent opportunity to own a unique piece of WWII History. Ask your questions, do research on these bikes, My ebay rating is 100% and I wish to keep it that way...the only dumb question is the one not asked!

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Graham Coxon, British musician and lead guitarist for Blur, auctioning off seven of his personal motorcycles with proceeds benefitting NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity. There’s something distinctly cool about old British motorcycles. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s.  I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.
