Brembo-type 6 bolt 1.5mm disc spacer (fits Yamaha Ducati Aprilia Bimota Benelli Laverda) One 1.5mm mm thick disc spacer to suit wheels that use the common Brembo 6 bolt, 64mm ID, 80mm PCD pattern (ie loads of Yamahas, Ducatis, Aprilias, Laverdas, Bimotas, Cagivas & Benellis, plus loads more that I can't think of at the minute.) Useful if you're messing around with different wheels/forks/calipers on your project. please note: this is for one spacer. Made here in the UK from 6082-T6 aluminium. Bimota Passes WSBK Homologation Inspection
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Bimota has been given the okay to race in the 2014 World Superbike Championship after a visit from representatives from the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and WSBK promoter Dorna. Bimota and its racing partner Team Alstare will be allowed to race in the championship immediately, starting with this weekend’s round at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The manufacturer opened the doors to its factory in Rimini, Italy, to Charles Hennekam, FIM technical coordinator and motorcycle homologation officer, and Gregorio Lavilla, Dorna WSBK sporting director.
Zero-mile Bimota V-Due on eBay
Wed, 04 Aug 2010A RARE opportunity to snap up a zero-mile Bimota V-Due two-stroke race replica has come up for grabs on eBay. Launched in 1997, the V-Due was fitted with a 500cc, liquid-cooled, two-stroke, fuel-injected v-twin engine. It was the first time Bimota built an engine in-house, instead of sourcing engines from existing bike manufacturers.
Bimota Entering WSBK Championship with Team Alstare
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Bimota is returning to the World Superbike Championship after signing a five-year research and development deal with Team Alstare. The Italian company was one of the original manufacturers in the series’ inaugural 1988 season but Bimota hasn’t competed since the 2000 season. Team Alstare will enter two Bimota BB3 superbikes in the EVO class, playing a leading role in developing the sportbike.
