For those of you not familiar with the crazy Derek Specials, i've been doing this for years and a lot of people absolutely love it. All the crazy Derek Specials start at $1 and never have a reserve. I lose on some and win on some. These are always sold as is and I will describe them the best I can. Along with my own evaluation, I also have a mechanic go over the vehicles. Not every scratch and dent can be noted, so please bare with me. I post Motorcycles, ATV's, PWC's, Scooters and snowmobiles. As always, good luck bidding!

This Crazy Derek Special is a 1997 Buell M2 Motorcycle. This bike fires up, runs great and can be driven off the lot. It does have a few minor issues that should be noted. Non of which affect the function of the bike. The Speedometer does not work. Probably just need to replace the cable. It has a nut missing that attaches a wire to the oil pressure sensor. There are a few chips on the gas tank as well as small scuffs on the clutch lever and left side of the tail section. All of which are shown in the pictures. Now the positives of this bike. The motor is very strong and shows incredible throttle response. It has a Vance and Hines aftermarket exhaust. The suspension feels very smooth through the corners and over bumps in the road. Shifts through all gear without issue. Brakes are solid however the rear pads should be replaced in the near future. This is a great bike that can hit the road today and enjoy this awesome late season weather.

If you haven’t heard, or have seen the new 2010 Buell Blast, you should check it out before viewing the video below. Buell has re-branded itself over the last month or so and have been taking a very close look at themselves. Not only did they change their logo, but they decided to put to rest a motorcycle that just didn’t fit what they really wanted to be making. Sport bikes. So the 2010 Buell Blast is a crushed hunk of metal signifying the end of that model. There will be no Blast in the future so don’t hold your breath!

Aaron Yates Joins Geoff May on Team Hero EBR WSBK Team

Aaron Yates is joining Geoff May in making the jump to the World Superbike Championship with Erik Buell Racing. The two Americans will ride the Team Hero EBR 1190RX for the bike’s debut season of international racing. Yates and May finished 8-9 in the 2013 AMA Superbike Championship for Team Hero EBR, with Yates edging out his teammate by a single point.

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
