1998 West Coast Chopper the Famous EL DIABLO was built by the famous Jesse James, this is a bike that was built by Jesse Himself and used for the 2000 SEMA Show, Featured on the Cover of Hot Bike with Jessie riding April of 1999 there is a copy of the issue included with the sale as well as a photo of Jesse with the bike at his home in Austin Texas after servicing the bike and giving it a complete safety check. With less than 1000 miles since completed in 1999 this El Diablo is one of the original 5 that was built to start the Big West Coast Chopper jump start. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. Bonnier Corp., Owners Of Cycle World, Acquire Nine Source Interlink Titles, Including Motorcyclist
Mon, 20 May 2013Bonnier Corporation, owner of Cycle World, Popular Science and Field & Stream magazines, among others, has just inked a deal with Source Interlink Media, acquiring nine of SIM’s motorcycle titles. Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.
