Cheers RobertThe Hypermotard was available in 2 configurations the base model and the higher specification S model.The more expensive S featured a durable low friction diamond-like cardon (DLC) black coating to the front fork sliders an hlins remote reservoir rear shock the same Brembo Monobloc brake calipers pre-owned on the lighter forged aluminium Marchesini wheels with a red pin-stripe Pirelli tires plus carbon fibre fork protectors timing belt covers front mudguard fender and tail exhaust side panels. These upgrades made for a kg (. lb) weight saving kg ( lbs) versus kg ( lbs) for the base model. To help with identifying the different models at a glance if the fork protectors are plastic and match the colour of the tank it s almost certainly a base model (although some base model owners change to carbon protectors). 2014 WSBK – Aragon Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
Hayden and Rossi Back on Track Following Surgeries
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden returned to the track to test their Ducati Desmosedici GP12 racebikes mere weeks after both undergoing surgery. Rossi had a rod removed from his right leg, a remnant from the 2010 crash that broke his tibia. Hayden meanwhile is still recovering from surgery to repair a shoulder injured in a training crash.
