Moving to Spain and can't take it with me . A total head turner every time I take it out ! Termignoni exhaust sounds great along with tail chop and stealth license bracket. New Metzler on rear this past june - tune-up and fluids flush this past sept.. Bar end mirrors + stock mirrors , will include rear paddock stand and my Torc casino helmet sz large. This is my 3rd moto and can say its been so much fun to ride ! Very light compared with my Kawasaki ZRX1100 so if you're a new rider, you'll feel very confident in being able to handle the speed - I'm doing 60 before I get out of 4th gear with 2 more to go. Ducati Desmosedici GP13 an Evolution, Not a Revolution
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Bernhard Gobmeier sounded cautiously optimistic about Ducati‘s MotoGP program, speaking at the Wrooom 2013 event following the unveiling of the Desmsedici GP13 racebike. Taking over as general manager of Ducati Corse, Gobmeier acknowledged his team had a lot of ground to make up if it hopes to pose a serious threat to Honda and Yamaha. Ducati got an early start on developing its 2013 program halfway through the 2012 season when it became apparent the Desmosedici GP12 was not competitive enough against the RC213V and the M1.
2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands
Wed, 17 Aug 2011Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
