2007 Ducati Superbike on 2040-motos
Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
2007 Ducati 1098 with 10500 miles. I did the 7500 mile service last summer. Brand new battery. Oil change within the last couple hundred miles. The tread on the tires is good. All work performed by Ducati Dallas AMS, and I have documentation to prove it. During the 7500 mile service, Ducati Dallas AMS changed the spark plugs, timing belts, changed the chain, and checked the valves, etc. I have a clean title. There are some minor issues. The lock doesn't work, and hasn't since I bought it. I never bothered to fix it. As you can see from the pictures, there are a few minor blemishes in the paint. A former owner must have dropped the bike. But the blemishes are very minor. The check engine light occasionally comes on because of some weird European law that says bikes can't be too noisy. The Ducati Dallas AMS people assured me that this in no way impacts the performance of the bike. Sold as is. Loved the bike, but I'm moving soon and I need the money to finance the move. |

Don't become another crime statistic
Mon, 13 Jun 2011On average approximately 50,000 motorcycles are stolen each year. They're taken from outside homes, from large urban environments across the countries major cites and highly organised gangs are at the heart of thefts preying on innocent motorcyclists. Experts of motorcycle security, Acumen advise on how to protect your bike: How to reduce the chance of theft Protection is like layers of an onion – the more the layers; the longer it takes.
848 build blog : 42 days to go
Tue, 21 Feb 2012With just 42 days until the British Superbike season starts and the 2012 848 Challenge riders head to Brands for the first of eight rounds, I thought you'd like to see the lastminute.com preparations and hard graft going into my bike to get it ready for the season ahead. Instead of ending the season in one piece, I highsided in Race 1, buggering the bike and busting my shoulder. The bike and I have been feeling very sorry for ourselves ever since.
Not everyone loves Rossi
Fri, 29 Jun 2012The town of Casinina is only a few miles away from Tavullia, where Valentino Rossi grew up. Judging by these T-Shirts, not everyone who's Italian or into their Ducatis loves Mr Rossi by default. The T-shirt says: 'For the love of god, go!'.
