Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Music and Motorcycles Exhibit

The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.

2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two Revealed in CARB Documents; Softail Slim Bobber Also Rumored

Harley-Davidson will introduce a new 1200cc Sportster model  released by the California Air Resources Board. The new 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two is expected to be announced at the company’s winter dealer meeting next month, and it may not be alone. Newly released documents from the CARB reveal the Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two among the company’s 1200cc Sportster offerings alongside the Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom and Nightster.
