Harley-Davidson Softail description

I purchased this Softail used from a dealership in 2008, it had one prior owner. I have put around 24,000 miles on the bike since I have owned it. I have done regular maintenance and have not had any problems with this bike. It runs strong. I have ridden to Sturgis, Colorado, New Mexico, North Carolina, Florida, New Orleans. and everywhere in between and it is still running strong.  I have never done any burnouts or beat this bike, I am not into acting like a jackass to impress people.

Since I've owned this bike I have had many of the parts powder-coated black; the down tubes, handlebars, triple trees, fender struts, derby and inspection covers, dash etc. Derby cover has a scratch because someone pulled in front of me when I was leaving a parking lot, I locked the brakes and tipped the bike I picked it up immediately no other damage.  Pipes have been ceramic coated....they could use a re-coating. Pipes are Vance and Hines slash cut drag pipes, I removed the slash cuts, I had to re-install the baffles because of a recent noise-ordinance where I live. Bike has a 27in. quick detach sissy bar, brackets for throw-over saddle bags, the front signals are small bullet lights, the rear signals are in the tail light. Paint is black truck bed liner. 16in. apes are internally wired, risers are custom engraved with the words F^%k Off. German tanker skull on points cover. Bike Has a Carb, not fuel injected.
I just had all the fluids changed and new back tire installed. They checked everything over, and it is good to go. I replaced the battery last summer. New front tire this season, has many miles left in it. All you have to do is start it and go. It runs and idles great, handles awesome.
I love this bike, the only reason I am selling it is to get a down-payment to buy a house. I got married in Sturgis on this bike in 2008 and it has great meaning to me, but we want a home and I can always get another bike.
Thanks for looking!!!

Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
