Harley-Davidson Touring description

2008 Road King Police.  103 ci w/cruise control, six speed, stereo w/Ipod plug, ABS, oil cooler, self canceling turn signals, police style hockey puck saddle bag latches, and touring seat.  Great highway bike; runs smoothly for hours at highway speed. Only flaws are the back tire will need to be replaced soon (front tire is good), the engine/and saddle bag guards have scrapes on the bottom corners from police training (only visible from bottom of the bike; this is standard for police bikes), and the front forks show some spots from the Florida salt air where the bike was in service (see pictures).  Very minor oil spotting on garage floor under the oil cooler.  Paint was new in '13 and looks great and all other chrome and finish are excellent.  Call or txt with questions; Eric, 317.431.4015.

***I will remove the driver and passenger back rests and the highway pegs.  Bike does not include these items.

Local pick-up (Indianapolis) or call to discuss another option you'd like to try.  $200 non-refundable Paypal deposit due w/in 48 hours to cover selling fee if you don't follow through.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary.  The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
