Honda CB description
1971 Honda CB 175. For parts or project bike. When I got the bike it was running but seemed to need some adjustments in the carb. I took out 1 of the spark plugs and when I tried to put it back in, discovered that the hole was stripped. I have a pre-owned cylinder head in excellent condition to replace the 1 with the stripped spark plug hole. I also have all new gaskets and o-rings and the Clymer repair manual. I don't have all the tools to make the swap and I am going to be moving soon so even if I did repair it I wouldn't be able to take it with me. The bike has 3,800 mis, brand new tires and seat and is in attractive condition. One downside is that I do not have the title. The previous owner couldn't find it when he sold it to me. 2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.
Honda's latest Cub
Fri, 18 May 2012Honda released their original C100 Super Cub way back in 1958 when other bikes at the time proved to be notoriously unreliable and difficult to ride. Since then, they have sold over 27 million C90s, with the step-through framed bike proving to be easy to ride and even easier to maintain. Looking like it's come straight from the film WALL-E, the new UNI-CUB might have two wheels but any similarity with a Honda C90 ends there.
McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.
