ITEM DESCRIPTION: Today, up for auction is a COMPLETE(except the carbs & exhaust) vintage 1978 Honda CB750 SUPER SPORT engine and frame... INCLUDES A MATCHING/CLEAR TITLE! This is a very low mileage engine and frame, only 2,200 original miles. I bought it from the original owner who broke one of the shock mounts off in the 80's and it sat parked in a garage until he parted it out. I picked it up about 4 years ago, immediately wrapped the entire thing in cellophane and kept it in a temperature controlled garage. It's obviously got plenty of compression in all cylinders and with a mounted set of carbs, I'd bet it would fire up with little to no fuss. Honda to Sponsor and Compete in 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

American Honda announced it will be a partnering sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while also entering the competition, racing in nine different classes (well, seventh, plus “Exhibition” entries in both car and motorcycle categories). Honda R&D staff, engineers, test riders and drivers will compete in car, motorcycle and ATV categories. Honda will field a record ten entries in all, with nine different vehicles including the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CRF450R and CRF250R.

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. Honda VTR-Powered Lawn Mower Claims 133mph Top Speed

Honda UK has teamed up with its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics to produce what it calls the world’s fastest lawn mower. The Honda Mean Mower is powered by a 996cc V-Twin engine from a VTR1000F Superhawk, leading Honda to claim a top speed of 133 mph and a 0-60 time of four seconds. Based on a Honda HF2620 lawn tractor, the Mean Mower uses an all-new 4130 chromoly steel chassis and bespoke suspension and wheels from a Honda ATV.
