custom built HONDA 450 with fat spoke HARLEY wheels. 21 in front wheel and 18 x 240 rear wheel. new racing carbs on original motor. forward controls and custom fenders. bike has front brakes only (new). This bike does not have gauges. It does have push button start without an ignition switch. The bike has light switch for head and tail lights, custom painted oil can houses the fresh battery. the fork, motor and 6 speed trans are original. The fuel tank is off early model dirt bike. The remainder of the bike is new. the frame , sheet metal, and wheels are powder coated.The tank is two tone with copper pinstripe. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
Stoner Back on Top on Day 2 of MotoGP Test in Sepang
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Casey Stoner made his return to the track after missing the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Sepang and showed everyone why he deserved the #1 plate. After skipping the first day of the test due to back pain, Stoner was back on the Repsol Honda RC213V and set the top lap time of all riders. Stoner rode 29 laps and set the pace with a lap time of 2:00.895, 0.157 seconds faster than Ben Spies and 0.173 seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo.
