 For Sale - 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 - the bike was stored in a garage for 12 years and recently brought back to life . The whole bike was gone through at a local shop in Houston. Lands Cycles. I have the receipt for 1,887 Dollars . New tires , new battery , carbs cleaned and rebuilt and synced. New brakes , new fluids and filters , new fuel petcock, new blinkers , new spark plugs , new starter  and other items . Runs like a new bike. Very smooth, strong in line four engine. Has a couple of small dings in the gas tank and paint is faded a little on front fender. Exhaust is in very good condition, shaft drive. Very fun sporty bike that's ready to ride.

Toni Elias to Substitute for Injured Hector Barbera at Laguna Seca

Former Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias is back in the premiere MotoGP class, albeit on a temporary basis. The Pramac Racing satellite Ducati team has signed Elias to race at the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in place of Hector Barbera who is sidelined with a broken leg.

In a just released video HRC Team Director Katsumi Yamazaki describes Honda’s Dakar weapon, the CRF450 Rally. Warning: Yamazaki-san’s monotone delivery manages to snuff the excitement factor of what is an incredibly trick motorcycle, but it’s still interesting to watch. Honda returned to the Dakar Rally for the first time in 24 years in January 2013.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
