Honda CB description

2013 Honda CB1000RA, Visit to view applicable destination charge amount. - Part high-performance sportbike, part mean and lean boulevard warrior. The Honda CB1000RA just might be the most fun you can have on two wheels. The excitement begins when you twist the throttle, and the CBR-derived 998 cc fuel-injected engine roars to life. An extra measure of low-to-midrange torque gets you going promptly, and the fun continues as the revs rise and the engine really shows its stuff. Although the aluminum mono-backbone frame is visually hardly even there, its plenty capable of harnessing all that horsepower, and the frame connects the aluminum Pro-Arm swingarm and fully adjustable 43 mm inverted fork to create a chassis thats stable when you need it to be, and nimble and responsive when you want to take it up a notch. And with Hondas Combined Braking System with ABS, you can ride with confidence even when the road surface is less than ideal. Naked aggression in a user-friendly, fun-to-ride package: thats the outrageous Honda CB1000RA.

Intermot 2012: Honda CB1100 Enters European Market

Wed, 03 Oct 2012

As we expected, Honda announced it will bring its retro-styled CB1100 to Europe at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Previously only available in Japan and Australia, the CB1100 will be available in Europe for 2013, though there is still no sign it will ever be offered in North America. Though it sounds close in name to Honda‘s CB1000R, the two naked standards reflect two differing philosophies.

The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
