Honda CB description

For more information please call: 949-258-3255

Everything on this bike works flawlessly and has been restored or upgraded.

This is a VERY unique model that comes with electronic start AND kick-starter and they both work flawlessly. Starts on first try and runs beautifully.

Here's a list of items you need to know:
- 5000 Original Miles
- Upgraded front brakes and master cylinder
- Professionally Wrapped front and back fender (Carbon Fiber Film)
- Powdercoated pipes, and several other metal components to give it the widow look. Zero problems.
- Cafe Handlebars
- Cafe bar-end mirrors
- Rebuilt carbs. Runs like a champ.
- Brand new tires with 99% tread. These are very high quality tires.
- LED Signal lights
- All lenses and cables are either new or in great shape
- New ignition switch with two keys

Everything (Electrical, Motor, Clutch, Brakes, Transmission, Lights, Horn, Electronic Starter, Kick-Starter, and everything else ) work flawlessly.
You just mount the bike and ride away.

Now, keep in mind, this is NOT a brand new bike. It's from 1978. So it does burn a little bit of oil but VERY little. I put in 1/8 of a Quart every other month.
It starts up right away but you need to know how carb bikes run to have the right expectations. If you are expecting a brand new bike that stops on a dime
and have 100+ HP then look elsewhere. These bikes are not monsters, they're very well balanced riding machines that won many races in their time.
They're a piece of history that are an absolute blast to ride and they do ride well and fast. They have plenty of power to zip a 200lbs man around town
and then some. It's quite good on fuel and requires very little maintenance. Just a little love here and there and she'll be your best friend for ever.

Title is clear and registered in California
Bike comes with Original books and manual

Pay and pickup and depending on price you'll also get the leather jacket and a helmet and a set of gloves.

Bradl's Red Bull Honda for Indy

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

At the Indianapolis MotoGP Stefan Bradl's LCR Honda will be sporting this one-off Red Bull livery. The MotoGP rookie has been impressive so far in his debut year with a fantastic riding style. So hopefully he'll continue his run of form and encourage the energy drink giant to stay on board, as the colours look smart on the Honda RC213V.

Classic Race Finishes: 1991 250cc Misano Grand Prix – Video

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

More than just a medium to view countless hours of cat videos, YouTube allows us to look back at classic motorcycle races otherwise lost to the depths of the VHS tape. This time around features the no-holds-barred, back-and-forth action between Luca Cadalora, aboard the Rothmans Honda NSR250 and Helmut Bradl, father of current MotoGP rider, Stefan Bradl, riding the HB Honda NSR250. The stage is the 1991 250cc Italian Grand Prix at Misano — back when it was run in the correct, counter-clockwise, direction.

2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.
