1996 Honda CR 85 Dirt Bike - 2 Stroke - Unique Dragon Decal - RUNS GREAT
I wanted $1500 but registration is out of date and I was told the fee would be around $150. The only reason I'm selling it is because I need the money for a street legal bike. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be selling this bike. This bike runs great! The first owner had it for his son but he "out grew it". Im 5' 11", 220lbs, and I still love riding this. I actually prefer it over my father's YZ 250R. I took the bike on 2 camping trips and it never left me stranded. The bike has sat in storage for a few years, but I emptied the gas, put some new gas in, and it started right up. I rode it around my neighborhood and she still hauls a**! GREAT STARTER BIKE and has a lot of power. The bike comes with a new spark plug (old one still works great, I bought another just in case), gas can, chest protector, and the other fender for the bike. Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
