2008 Honda Gold Wing, GL1800 (GL18BM8) AIRBAG model. Excellent condition. Beautiful pearl white color. 39,712 miles. Original owner. Garage kept. Adult driven. ABS brakes, GPS navigation, air ride adjustable suspension, cruise control, electric reverse, heated seats and heated grips. AM-FM radio, connection for iPod. Meticulously maintained/serviced. Just completed full synthetic oil change service. All maintenance work completed by certified Honda Motorcycle technicians. No accidents. There is a scratch on the lower left side below seat (see last pic). Options include a (removable) back rest for those long highway rides. Tires recently replaced so plenty of tread life remaining. Battery Tender included. Comes with clean and clear title, (2) keys, all manuals, and factory tool kit. Note: This 2008 GL 1800 Honda Gold Wing airbag model is under recall by Honda for the airbag. Honda sent a notice indicating that remedy parts will be available in the fall of 2016. The repair will done free of charge. In addition, the notice states that in the meantime, should you wish, you can have the airbag deactivated by any authorized Honda motorcycle dealer at no cost to you. The recall notice will go with the bike. Thanks for looking. |

Marc Marquez Crash Data Analysis From Silverstone
Thu, 05 Sep 2013During warm-up for last weekend’s Silverstone MotoGP race, Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashed between turns seven and eight, losing the front while on the brakes. The fall caused the MotoGP rookie’s shoulder to pop out of its socket, and Alpinestars has released the data from Marquez’ Tech-Air-equipped suit for us to further examine. Looking at the graph below, you’ll see the impact was focused on Marquez’ left shoulder.
