In very nice condition for its age,it could use a little tuning, the speedo just recently stopped working, all its power is there it hits 90 mph without any issues, the paint has a few chips but overall very good condition, In the one photo in the desert, the bike is complete when I got it 2 months ago, I drove it across the country to VA which its where it is now in my fathers garage,my plans have changed and IM in Europe now and don't know when Ill be back witch is why IM selling it, the only parts that are no longer with the bike are the highway pegs and the antennas' the stereo didn't work very well any way, I was playing around with the look of the bike before I left and put it into storage, so in the other pics is pretty much how I left one month ago, the pipes are also off because I was gonna bring them with me to Europe to use on my other goldwing =D but I didnt, so theres about three boxes with them, and all the other extra chrome and fenders, so to start the bike it must be filled with fuel the battery connected and mufflers put on, I could possibly have someone do it before pick up..also it has Canadian documents, and brand new import papers I never titled it, the original documents have my signature as buyer, so I imagine all that is needed is a bill of sale from me to the new buyer.2016-11-10 04:35:19charlottesville, United States65650 -

I bought this from a Harley Davidson dealership a couple of years ago. They had taken it on a trade-in. I wanted it to be a project bike but haven't had time to work on it. When they rolled it off the truck on delivery it started up and ran well. I think it needs front fork seals as there is some evidence of leakage around front forks. It's been in my neighbors heated basement garage but it has been sitting. Needs brakes for sure. Rest may be minimal but I'm not sure about carb seals now since it's been sitting. Gas tank was drained when bike was stored though. Custom tooled leather seats and other custom features. Cool looking bike. That's about all I know. If you know about bikes you can get this on the road with a fairly minimal investment. Otherwise you can at least "part it out" and probably double your money. This is a complete low mileage genuine barn (basement) find. Last time it was on the road was 2001. Have clean title from 1997 and mileage was 34,426 when purchased then. Mileage is assumed original according to previous owner. Engine starts and runs. Has a fresh battery. I used my carb sync fuel tank and fresh fuel and it started right up. Carbs leak at the fuel bowels from dried out gaskets. Tank on bike was stored full and is in good condition. Overall condition of the bike is fair to good. I only sprayed off the dust from sitting in a basement for the last 16 years. Chrome is decent on most parts. Front wheel is good. Rear wheel has rust on all the spokes, but rim is good. Exhaust is in good condition with no rot and quiet original baffles. Vetter Windjammer fairing is complete with working radio and is in good condition. Windshield has small stress cracks at all the mounting screws, but is in usable condition as is. Luggage is generic and has all the keys. Seat has some minor tears. This is a good parts bike or restore. It is complete except the mirrors are missing. Brake calipers will need freed up. I have them disconnected to move it. It starts right up, and seems to run good. The front brakes and rear brakes work fine, as does the clutch and transmission. We test rode it about 5 miles, and it pulls good and shift through all gears fine. I think this will make someone a good bike. It will need a new rear tire soon. I would recommend thoroughly inspecting the bike, and servicing it before starting on any road trips, as this bike has not been inspected by us, other than what is mentioned here. I purchased it after the Estate was settled. I replaced the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel pump, front and rears tires, windshield (scratched up from sitting in garage) , changed oil and filter and all fluids, new grease in differential, ....and just basically went over everything on the entire bike.
