Honda Other description

This is not my motorcycle. I'm selling it on behalf of a friend. It's an all original 1989 Honda GB 500 Tourist Trophy with less than 3900 original miles. This Honda sat in a barn for over 8 years before I got it. It has had the carb rebuilt, new battery, fresh oil and filter, new spark plug and petcock valve. Gas tank was cleaned and Red Kote applied inside the tank. Tires are original. The bike runs like a dream with no mechanical problems at all. The only cosmetic items that need to be addressed is some of the chrome needs some help. There are a couple of scratches that also need some help which are in the photo's. There is a scratch on the backside of the front fender and a scratch on the side cover. I welcome questions. Other pictures can be made available upon request.

Classic Race Finishes: 1991 250cc Misano Grand Prix – Video

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

More than just a medium to view countless hours of cat videos, YouTube allows us to look back at classic motorcycle races otherwise lost to the depths of the VHS tape. This time around features the no-holds-barred, back-and-forth action between Luca Cadalora, aboard the Rothmans Honda NSR250 and Helmut Bradl, father of current MotoGP rider, Stefan Bradl, riding the HB Honda NSR250. The stage is the 1991 250cc Italian Grand Prix at Misano — back when it was run in the correct, counter-clockwise, direction.

Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.

If you thought the license test was hard in America…

Thu, 28 Apr 2011

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Check out the video after the jump.
