Consequently , it was never driven, and was recently serviced to be road ready. This incredibly desirable '69 model features; the earlier round tank emblems , is the 1st year to sport both the front head lamp with a tail light, comes with an original rare license plate mounting bracket, and also re tains the super rare original engine guard! However, th is Mini Trail was recentl y tuned, and run s better than new. The small cos metic issues could easily be rectified with quality replaceme nt parts if need be. When this bike was expertly restored, it was done so using a low miles example in fantastic condition. All parts are OEM vintage NOS parts, and all of the pa rts on this mini bike were made by Honda. Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
