1993 Honda ST1100 with under 77,000 miles on her. Just got back from an 800
mile road trip, averaging just under 50 MILES PER GALLON at 70-75MPH. Pearl Red. 5-Speed Shaft Drive. Lots of extras included.
This bike can be shipped to the lower 48 United States for $500 or less. -77K miles (low for this specific model) -Extremely smooth and well tuned V4, 1100cc liquid cooled engine -Smooth shifting and tall geared 5 speed transmission -Shaft drive -Full fairing with gas gauge, speedo, tach, remote headlamp adjustment, clock and two integrated glove boxes, etc -New mid-height clear windshield -Extra Custom Corbin seat with passenger backrest -High intensity LED brake light bulbs with pulse modulator for added safety -Double bulb high visibility headlamp system with pulse modulator during daytime driving -Newer battery with charging pigtail and tender -New Michelin tires, front and rear-excellent condition -Custom and expensive handlebar risers for optimal adjustment flexibility -Fresh engine, final drive, cooling system and brake fluids -Intact and lockable hard saddlebags included (need new locks, but fully functional as-is) -On my just completed roadtrip from Topeka, Kansas, I averaged just under 50 miles per gallon going 70-75MPH -7.5 Gallon fuel capacity -Lots of EXTRAS! Very fair for all that's included. Mechanically sound condition. Has cosmetic issues, but nothing out of line for a 27 year old bike. A repaint would be in order, but overall the paint is great, mostly the side hard bags that are scratched up from age. The original seat is excellent but needs to be recovered. Low mileage for it's age. It ran great from Kansas back to Illinois, but I would tune it up, replace the plugs, etc... oil was done recently, but after a road trip, probably good to change the fluids again. It's a little hard starting at times, but once it's running, no problems. This tells me it just needs a basic tune-up. New Michelin Tires with less than 2K on them. Mon, 27 Aug 2012The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
