I’m selling a 2006 Honda VTX1300 / VT1300S that I took on trade for a car. This bike is in excellent condition. It has been garage kept and well cared for. It’s got a custom “Mustang” “King & Queen” seat on it which is very comfortable and I believe gives you a solo option. I put brand new Dunlop tires on the bike less than 50 miles ago. You’ll notice in the pictures that the lower tinted portion of the windshield has a funky look to it. I don’t know if it was made that way or if someone used a harsh cleaner on it at some point. The Clear portion of the windshield is flawless. The saddle bags are included. This bike is ready to ride. It will make someone a great cruiser. Feel free to come look before you bid, ask questions and I will reply. The winning bidder can pick the bike up in Effingham, IL 62401 or I will deliver for $2.50 per loaded mile (one way). You will be responsible for any applicable taxes and registration or title fees. I require a $500 deposit within 10 hrs of auction close and expect payment in full within 10 days. Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L
Wed, 04 Sep 2013American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.
Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
