2009 Honda VTX1300R, PICS TO COME - It's not easy categorizing a motorcycle as classically cool and feature-packed as the VTX1300R, so we like to go with "performance-retro". Check out the 1,312 cubic centimeter V-twin engine and staggered dual exhaust. Shift your gaze to the deeply valanced fenders, chrome-hooded headlight, tank-mounted instruments, pullback handlebar, and floorboards with an old-school heel-toe shifter.

Fast forward a few years, and the more modest 1,300cc displacement has become the new 1800, with Honda's VTX1300 series selling nearly 83,000 units since it was introduced in '03. Expanding on the success of the lineup, Honda's new-for-2010 Interstate, Sabre, and Stateline offer fresh twists on the factory custom cruiser theme.

Honda Reports Q1 2014-2015 Sales Results

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. But then you remember that 2.0% still represents an additional 83,000 motorcycles (including ATVs), such is the scale involved in a company like Honda.
