1941 Indian scout 30.50 not running but engine turns free and has compression tanks and seat are new the rest is original parts more parts will be pictured tomorrow, not pictured is 480.00 rebuilt and bench tested generator with sprocket and chain,kicker and petal,drive chain,n.o.s. Shifter arm, Rod bearings if needed new steering stem bearings,clutches,clutch springs,transmissions in bike is not complete needs drive gear and slider gear but will come with extra (complete transmission)  and many more parts (no tittle) bill of sale only not a complete bike but the most complete project scout I've seen lately no fenders more pictures with the extra parts coming tomorrow,mid frame section has plate welded in it as they did years ago for racing buyer responsible for shipping,will hold for a while if needed I think 18" front wheel may be off of enfield scout both tire hold air and are usable,thought about parting out for about 10 grand or so but its to complete for that would rather see it completed

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Polaris Reports Increased Results for Both Fourth Quarter and Full Year

  For the 2012 year ending December 31, 2012, Polaris Industries, Inc., (NYSE: PII) reported record net income of $4.40 per diluted share, a 38% increase compared to $3.20 per diluted share. For the fourth quarter of 2012 Polaris reported a net income of $1.24 per diluted share, up 38 percent from the prior year’s fourth quarter net income of $0.90 per diluted share. Reported net income for the full year was $312.3 million, up 37 percent from the previous year’s net income of $227.6 million.

Bill Tuman, Bobby Hill, To Be Grand Marshals For AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

In the early 1950s, three underdog riders were winning AMA Grand Nationals against their better-funded factory rivals out of Europe and Milwaukee, Wis. Whether it was the Springfield Mile, the Charity Newsies or Daytona, Bill Tuman, Bobby Hill and Ernie Beckman put their Indian motorcycles on the top step of the podium. Known as the Indian Wrecking Crew, Tuman, Hill and Beckman made an indelible mark on the history books and solidified Indian Motorcycles’ reputation as one of the 20th Century’s greatest marques.
