Having just over 1900 miles and being garage kept and meticulously dealer serviced, this bike is as near to new as you will find a used bike. It has never seen snow or salted roads and has seldom seen rain. It is washed weekly and waxed regularly using Griot's Garage products exclusively. - I have received a few emails from buyers outside the US. I am willing to sell to a buyer outside the US as long as you understand that I am a private seller and have little experience with foreign sales. As long as you have an agent to handle the transaction I am willing to work with them. Deposit and payment must be received as indicated in the listing but I am willing to store the bike until your exporter is ready to pick it up.

- I've had several questions about the motor and the actual condition of the bike. Thank you for your interest. The bike has only been ridden under 2000 miles so the photos are not misleading. That being said, since it has been ridden, there are some minor nicks typical for it being used. My mechanic was a former Indian mechanic from the Gilroy era and over the winter I had him do the pinion shaft run out test to see if my motor had the issues you are referring to. The run out came back at well below the tolerance allowable (it was .001"). He did, however, recommend me sending the oil pump out to Frank at Blackhawk Motor Works for their rebuild and modification which I did. He didn't see the need to do the flywheel replacement the Blackhawk updates recommend due to the excellent run out results the motor had indicating the motor would likely last many miles before doing it. Not all of the PP100 engines were faulty. I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any others or, better yet, stop by and see the bike. The pictures really don't do it justice.

Indian Announces Removal of Brake Throttle Override

Today, Indian Motorcycle Product Director, Gary Gray, told us that, because of feedback from journalists and the riding public, effective immediately, the Brake Throttle Override (BTO) system developed to prevent unintended acceleration in its ride-by-wire throttle system will not be installed on any of the 2015 Indian models. Additionally, owners of a current Indian who wish to have the BTO disabled on their motorcycle can simply take it to an Indian dealer to have its ECU flashed with the new software. Although the BTO has been present on all Indian models since their release last year, we first noticed its effects on a group ride at the Roadmaster’s introduction.
