KTM RC8 description

2010 KTM RC8.  The bike runs, sounds and rides amazing.  I've owned an R1 and CBR1000RR prior to this one, and this bike has by far been my favorite.  If I wasn't moving out of the country, I'd keep it.  You will not be disappointed.

I'm the original owner and have put around 6,500 miles on it.  Kept the bike in a trailer and out of the weather, I also changed the fluids on regular basis.  The bike does have some wear and tear.  There are some small scratches on the left hand side of the swing arm that came from my riding boot.  Scratches are covered with a swing arm protector (black decal that you'll notice in the pics).  There are also some scratches underneath the right rear set, not very noticeable.

Upgrades:
-Jester Exhaust
-Bazzaz Fuel Management Module
-Bazzaz Auto Tune Module

-Bazzaz Quick Shifter
-Rottweiler Air Intake

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM 690 Duke

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

KTM has released a video teasing its redesigned 690 Duke, which is set to make its debut at the 2011 EICMA show. The 2012 690 Duke will be powered by what KTM claims is the world’s most powerful Single-cylinder engine in production, with output expected to be close to 70hp. Updates include a side-mounted exhaust instead of the previous version’s underslung silencer, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and weight savings from a new manufacturing process for the structural fairing and subframe.
