Adult owner, never laid down and garaged kept. Recent maintenance within the past month: - Fresh Front and Rear Pirelli cosra tires - Motorex oil change with K&N oil filter (20 miles ago) - New EBC front brake pads - Front and Rear brake lines flushed and bleed with new DOT4 synthetic brake fluid Other upgrades: -K&N air filter -Tinted windscreen (factory screen will be part of sale) -KTM passenger seat delete grommets (passenger seat will be part of sale) -KTM tank pad - Bar end mirrors - Aftermarket front and rear LED turn signals - Adjustable RC8 black/orange anodized clutch and brake levers - Aftermarket license plate fender eliminator -Two Factory black keys, orange key are included along with the manual and tool kit. KTM Developing 500cc and 800cc Twins
Wed, 05 Feb 2014After setting a new company record for motorcycle sales on the back of small displacement models like the Duke line (like the 390 Duke pictured above), KTM is turning its attention to mid-sized models. Speaking with Overdrive.in at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer says the company has 500cc and 800cc parallel Twin engines in development, with new models expected to enter production within three years. The new mid-sized models will be produced in India for the Indian market to avoid the country’s stringent import duties.
KTM Announces 2013 Factory Team, Bids Farewell to Cyril Despres
Tue, 12 Mar 2013(ED: Updated with a message from Cyril Despres.) KTM introduced its 2013 Rally Racing team while bidding farewell to five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres. Despres won all five of his Dakar victories with KTM, winning in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013. He leaves the team to pursue a new challenge, with Honda rumored to be seeking his services for its newly-revived rally racing program.
Riding round the north of Scotland
Mon, 20 Aug 2012I’m ashamed to say that until last week, I had no idea what incredible roads and scenery the North West of Scotland had to offer. Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
