Kawasaki KLX description

1993 Kawasaki KLX in very good condition.   A big, fun dual sport motorcycle.  Kawasaki only made it for three model years, but it would be a hit in today's adventure sport market. A lot of fun on the street or the dirt.

The bike isn't perfect, but it runs very well and rides even better.  32,000+ miles. Top end was rebuilt at 27,000 miles by Santa Clarita Motorsports in California. New wheel bearing installed. Service records show a new chain, fork seals and stater as well. I found it sitting for a while. New battery, new gas, carb rebuild and it runs like a champ. Gas cap lock is broken and has a "special tool" to operate the mechanism, but it works. Tires look good. Not perfect, but everything works.

It looks really good for a 20+ year old.No problem to fire it up and ride today! I can help with arranging transportation if needed, but the cost is the buyers.

This steam powered motorcycle (not a bicycle, 'cos it don't have no pedals), could be perfect for you if you like a brew at short notice on your Sunday ride. Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.

Watch the Kawasaki J Concept Transform – Video

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The transforming Kawasaki J Concept was one of the highlights of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, thanks to its futuristic styling that was like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and the Batpod from Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy. The electric three-wheeler is unlikely to enter full production, but it is nice to see some outrageous concept models again. The J Concept was primarily produced to showcase Kawasaki‘s GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery technology, but the most dramatic feature is the concept’s ability to transform.
