Kawasaki Other description

I took this motorcycle on trade. I thought about keeping it, because these bikes seem to only go up in value. But, I would rather let someone who has more time ride and enjoy it, instead of it just sitting.

The bike seems to be mostly original. However, as you can see it has been painted and the pipes have been changed. I have had it running and it sounded fine, also rode well.

The previous owner said the speedometer was changed due to broken glass. The used speedometer reads 849 miles, but the title and the previous owner say it has 2401 miles.

It does leak a little oil.

You will be buying this bike the exact way I bought it.

I tried to describe this motorcycle to the best of my knowledge.

2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.

Video: Riding the 2011 MSS Kawasaki ZX-10 Superbike racer

Thu, 10 Mar 2011

A long time ago a man – some would say living legend – taught me how to ride a speedway bike. In Scandinavian tinged English he told me that the heart of riding a speedway bike was the relationship between my heart and the centre nut of the top yoke. Like a primitive cave dweller, he beat his heart with his fist while he explained this theory whilst his other hand gripped the top yoke.
