Pro Street Pro Street description

After a professional career as a mechanical engineer and two US patents, I designed and built this vehicle from scratch over a period of ten years for my own personal pleasure.  Time didn't mean anything and neither did money.  Although I never intended it to be a show vehicle, innovation and attention to detail have brought recognition and awards in national shows.  The unique front suspension with single-sided swing arms, classic "dressed-up" small block Chevy with it's front distributor and three deuces, late model Corvette transaxle with aluminum rear suspension all packaged in a swept-back layout are crowd pleasers.  It's long wheelbase and wide stance coupled with a very low center of gravity and 400 horsepower make for a comfortable but addictive ride.  Condition is excellent.  All photos taken on grass April 28, 2016 to show current condition.  The time has come to sell.

  • bed plate protected by non-metallic washers on all fasteners

Length 13 ft 7in, width 76 in, weight 2280 lbs on DOT scales

Although this vehicle has won best in class in several shows, it was never intended to be a show vehicle - it was simply designed, fabricated, painted/chromed/polished and assembled at a very high level.  Given this, there's a mark thru the paint on the lower frame rail to the right of the motor (pic) and poor chrome inside one rear wheel.

The additional blemish is a hairline oil seepage from the front cover on the motor.  Several weeks ago I ran the motor for a potential bidder in the shop and drove it outside in the sun and back in.  No oil drops.  Two day later there were several drops.  Informing bidders of this was a struggle between the car guy in me and the desire for maximum dollars (I'm 75 on SS.)  The car guy in me won out and I feel good about it.  I'm not implying this is good judgment but it's my judgment.

I will provide technical information support to the new owner as long as he/she owns the trike.  Technical files go with the trike.

Please note:  Mileage is a guess.  As an engineer, I drove this trike to test and verify the performance of all systems plus drove it during two bike weeks in Daytona Beach.
