Very nice 1981 GS 450L
I have been restoring it as a brat but need to sell. The only thing left is the mixture/fuel/idle to get it ready to go. Bike is sold as is. No warrantee. (I picked it up from someone who started the work and I was finishing.) What's been done? Complete rewiring. New battery. Brat bar. Custom Seat. New headlamp (3 light) Painted tank/head lamp. New clutch cable. New clutch pressure plate. New chain. Clip on handlebars and bar-end mirror. New LED turn signals New LED brake lights. Not original odometer. Mileage based on current reading. James Stewart Splits From JGRMX, Signs with Yoshimura Suzuki
Mon, 07 May 2012James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.

Mon, 06 Oct 2014At Intermot this year Suzuki made it official: the company was returning to MotoGP in 2015. There had been some speculation about a 2016 return considering that will be the year of new ECUs and a switch to Michelin spec tires, but team boss Davide Brivio confirmed the GSX-RR prototype will be in action next year, piloted by Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales. However, Suzuki will also make a wildcard appearance at the season ending round of the championship at Valencia with test rider, Randy DePuniet, at the helm.
