GS1100 WITH ONLY 8,000 MILES ON IT! IT RUNS EXCELLENT VERY STRONG AND FAST BIKE 1982 Suzuki GS1100GL "Z" Code 1982 with just over 8K Original Miles. As you know these bikes are getting very hard to come by in good condition. Stunning new blue paint, Bike was originally Blue and Black. New items include, NGK Spark Plugs, Battery, Stator, Valve cover Gasket, Sifter Shaft Seal, Carb's Cleaned, Rebuild, and Synced, with Stage 1 jets plus K&N pod filters. All fluids changed, tires are in great shape with lots of tread remaining. Everything WORKS! Gas Tank is clean, no rust or debris. Has factory pipes that are clean and rust free. Chrome fenders are in great condition as well. Additional items that come with the bike include, a set of chrome and a set of silver Suzuki tank decals, oil filter, all items needed to rebuild forks when needed from Suzuki, $70 value. Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.
