 1983 Rm 250 D SUZUKI motorcycle - sold as a project bike, Incomplete
Sold as is, - without warranty :
 Missing some small parts,
 Missing stator -

ENGINE Photos soon--- includes new DG pipe and silencer

Otherwise, sold as a parts bike for restoration, with spare parts.
Many new and used parts included with the sale

Rolling frame is complete,
Rebuilt rear shock by Pro Action suspension.
Revalve, new nitrogen, oil and seals,
you will have to set up the shock to your correct adjustments, via preload and rebound..

Set up for 190lbs rider .

Engine - included in the sale will require the bottom end to be rebuilt
Includes 2 Crank assemblies-- USED
Cranks appear to be okay but they need the rod rebuild and crank bearings.

Center cases included for the rebuild plus the original center cases that were damaged in extraction

All the original gearbox parts are included and appear to be fine, No damage to the gearbox
Center cases split on the engine after extraction.

Cyclinder included has been rebored with oversize WISECO piston kit
4th over stock Wiseco piston kit, new in the box
Wrist pin bearing, circlips, piston rings, etc
new Cometic gaskets

2 Cylinder heads, both 1983 - !
One has some pitting on the top of the cylinder head, 2nd one has no pitting.

I have two CDI assemblies with this motorcycle... One is used and 2nd one is new in the box, NOS new.
Includes Coil, Magneto
but there is no stator with the motor... I never had one at the time of purchase.
Carbureator

Includes new DG pipe and silencer, in the shrink wrap...

Spare parts included are-
1.Spare used seat
2.Spare swingarm-
2.Spare rear wheel, that has wheel bearing damage, but its complete

spare front wheel with new Front tire mounted, Michelin tire, Drum brake front tire that is correct for 1983 Rm 250 D model
I do not have the correct drum brake outer brake drum.
Rolling frame includes 1985 RM 250 F front forks, front wheel, with new tire mounted, MICHELIN intermediate tire and new tube and wheel bearings.
Spokes have some rust on them but the rim itself is in good shape
also, complete disc brake assembly included, master cylinder and lower brake caliper complete with brake pads.
System will need to be bled and new brake fluid installed.

I do not have the original drum brake front forks .. They were missing when i purchased the motorcycle .
Front steering stem requires new bearings... I may have those to include with the sale..
Otherwise, both front and rear wheels have new MICHELIN intermediate S-12 tires mounted .

Includes new Uni air filter :
RK 520 NON o ring chain
New Sunstar rear sprocket
New Cables, Motion pro clutch cable, throttle cable, and brake cable
also, two used original suzuki cables
Motion pro throttle -
plus the original used throttle assembly but i believe its incomplete.
New SUNLINE perches, with levers,
Scott Grips , new
Original Suzuki kill button.
TAG alloy bars, new - with cross bar pad.

Includes aftermarket seat cover - mounted on the seat.
Spare plastic included -  Radiator shrouds, used
front fender, original
NOS Front number plate
NOS rear fender
NOS left side number plate
USED right side number plate

any or all fasteners will be included ..with the sale that i have in my possession.
Rubber grommet that holds the Shock resevoir.-

NOS new Engine mount bolts
Replaced the front axle, swingarm pivot bolt, and rear axle with new NOS parts
so all three parts are new...
new swingarm pivot nut.

SPARE oversized piston kit, WISECO,
I have to check the size of the Piston kit.. I think it is 60 over stock size.
Also, Boyesen reeds included and some intake gaskets

I also have some rear wheel spacers for the Full floater that will be included..
NOS new..in the packages.

MOTORCYCLE is sold as incomplete, and sold as is without warranty
NO returns, or exchanges, and i asssume no liability.
It is sold as an incomplete motorcycle as parts .. You assembly and complete it .
Restoration project
Sold without title, and I will give a bill of sale with the serial number #

I will consider shipping within the continental United States, but you will have to contact the Motorcycle only shipping company within 7 days after sale and payment to arrange the shipping.
You are responsible for the shipping and I assume no liability or  responsibility once the motorcycle leaves my possession.
However, the motorcycle only shipping company is liscensed and bonded and they do an excellent job.
They have insurance with the shipping changes,
However, it is expensive .
I can provide this information in advance of sale if so required.. I have used them before for motorcycle shipping and they are very reliable and efficient.

Attack Performance, GPTech to Race All Three US MotoGP Rounds in 2013

Attack Performance Racing and GPTech made history this year as the first teams to build and enter motorcycles under MotoGP’s Claiming Rule Team rules as a  wild card entry. Both teams will race again, receiving wild card invites to all three U.S. rounds in the 2013 MotoGP season.

When John Reynolds was pushing me hard in the late nineties for BSB titles he was always polite and would happily stop to chew the fat and talk about the weather. But that was the limit of our friendship as he never wanted to like rivals too much, just in case it affected his competitive edge. These days, he has no great desire to barge me off the track at Redgate or Cascades so when our paths cross we happily spend time sorting out the problems of the world.

Suzuki Suspends Operations at Chinese Factory Over Anti-Japan Sentiments

Suzuki has suspended production at one of its motorcycle factories in China as Anti-Japanese protests sweep across the Asian nation. Tensions between China and Japan flared up in late August after the Japanese government announced plans to buy a handful of uninhabited but strategically useful islands. Both nations, as well as Taiwan, claim ownership of the islands, known as the Senkaku Islands to Japan and the Diaoyu Islands to China.
