Triumph Other description

I have for sale my treasured 1939 Triumph 350 3HW  OHV Pre-Unit motorcycle. Originally from England this motorcycle was used by the British Military in WW2. It is very complete and to the best of my knowledge very original. The engine and VIN numbers are what I consider as matching numbers.  VIN # T148425, Engine # 3HW 58425. The engine has great compression and is in decent running condition. The magneto /dynamo has been fully rebuilt generates a great spark. I have replaced the tires with new vintage style Dunlop tires and  have kept the original ones if desired. Please feel free to ask questions. The brakes work but could do with new brake linings at some point. I am not desperate to sell it and want it to go to someone that will appreciate it as I do for an almost 80 year old bike. The bike is registered in my name and has a antique TN License plate.

On Nov-15-16 at 03:24:57 PST, seller added the following information:

Please note that I do not have a title for this bike but do have an official TN registration in my name and antique license plate that does not expire. I will give the buyer a bill of sale which along with the registration should be sufficient to obtain a title in another state, however please confirm this with your local DMV if you are concerned.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Although the action in the show arena has previously been stunt displays, rather than a full-on competition.
