This auction is for one left hand Lucas type pick-up 458866 as used on Lucas magnetos. Typically used on the K2F , this is a 45 degree pick-up used on the left hand side.
Please note, this pick-up does NOT come with the brush, brush spring, gasket, brass split washer, or hold down screws, I do stock all of those items if needed. These pickups are actually manufactured in England & due to better materials & manufacturing are better quality than the Lucas originals. Please do not confuse these with the inferior parts coming from India , or the orient that are repackaged in the U.K. and sold as "English". Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
