I am deciding to sell my Yamaha R1 with 9,zero miles on it. Only reason I am selling is to find a daily driven car or it would not be forsale. To start off with it has a full Graves exhaust and headers, Power Programmer III, skull mirrors, red leds under tail, charger cord under seat, and more. The Cons is it had fallen over in a gravel driveway and has small scratches that can only be seen if close to it. Other than that, it's a beautiful show bike and sounds great. It has had the oil changed, spark plugs, and tuned by Yamaha. It has 60% tread left on tires I just bought toward the end of summer. Recently put a new battery on it. I am looking to trade it if interested for a , 95-06 maxima, 95-up 240SX, or something turbo or lifted. Will consider others. I am currently looking for a Audi A4 or A6 more than anything. Does not matter about mileage or if itI has ahad salvage title as long as its worth as much as my bike. And perfer five gear. Email me or text if interested with pics.. Mon, 30 Sep 2013The 2013 AMA Pro Superbike has just wrapped up its season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Josh Hayes dominating the race and his teammate, Josh Herrin, finishing second to clinch his first AMA Superbike championship. Not long after the checkered flag waved did Yamaha announce some big changes for the upcoming 2014 season. First and foremost, Herrin will be departing for Moto2 next year, fulfilling his desire to compete on the world stage.
2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
Hayes to Race in Valencia GP for Injured Colin Edwards
Mon, 31 Oct 2011Josh Hayes will make his MotoGP racing debut at the Nov. 6 Valencia Grand Prix in Spain as an injury replacement for fellow American Colin Edwards. Already set to test the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 M1 after the season-ending race, Hayes was a logical choice to ride in Edwards’ place.
