Yamaha V Star description

I bought this bike with 1800 miles on it back in 2006. So I am just the 2nd owner and have pretty much had this bike for most of its life.
Its been garage kept for the most part. Still runs as good as the day I got it.
Brand new tires, battery and brake pads. Other than those parts, I've never had to do anything to this bike. The accessory lights on each side of the headlight have never properly worked. Its a wiring issue I think. It always blows the fuse so I just let it be from day 1.
Other than that everything works as it should.
The only damage to the bike is on the right side where some jerk knocked it over while it was parked in NYC. It has roll bars so the damage was minimized to a crack in the battery cover, a scrape on the side of the leather seat and a couple of VERY minor dings on the exhaust pipe heat shield. A new battery cover is around $125 or so.
This bike is very heavy but low profile so its easy to balance flat footed which is great for short riders like myself.

Now Your Kid Can Ride Like Rossi!

Tue, 15 Sep 2009

Eight-time world motorcycle champion Valentino Rossi has created a new line of two-wheel funsters – except these bikes have no motors. Rossi teamed up with Italian company Cicli Adriatica to develop a line of children’s bicycles – the VR46 bike collection. With this line of children’s two-wheelers, you can now blame your child’s skinned knee of the famed Fiat Yamaha rider!
