Yamaha XS description

For Sale is my 1978 Yamaha 750XS Triple. I am the second owner of this bike and have owned it for 20 years. The other owner was my Godfather and I inherited from him. This bike is the definition of what these bikes did and can still do. This bike rides perfect and has no issues, none. I don't ride it often enough and I want it to see the bike go to a deserving home.  Everything works as it should on this bike and runs strong and idles nicely. I also have if interested is the matching fairing and hard saddle bags and sissy bar.  The bike looks so much nicer the way it is set up now but I can include those items if interested. I just had my bike shop go through it and everything is safe and ready to go. Has a new front tire and the back is practically new and great tread too.

The only issue is there is a small chip in the paint by the gas tank. It can easily be touched up but the bike is so perfect, I wanted to leave it the way it is.

Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
