BMW K-Series description

2008 BMW K1200s is in excellent condition. Black beauty with heated grips, abs, traction control, bmw tinted windscreen and Remus Hexacone exhaust. Exhaust sounds great and is much lighter than stock. Dealer serviced this summer. Last year a new battery was installed at the bmw dealer. Also at the dealer all fluids were changed. This bike is ready to go for the fall riding season. It does not have the factory hard bags.  I love this bike and will continue to ride more when the weather cools off. Shoulder surgery limits my seat time. I can be reached at 865-661-8117 if you have any questions. Bike is available to be seen daily at 8105 Kingston Pike Knoxville Tn. 37919. I have title in hand and it is in my name. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel listing at any time. Thanks for looking.

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

German site MotorradOnline.de has published a spy photo of what appears to be a new liquid-cooled BMW R1200R prototype undergoing testing. The production model should arrive for the 2015 model year, with the official unveiling likely to take place at the Intermot show in Cologne in October. The spy photo shows the top of the test bike, with the engines, wheels and exhaust hidden behind a railing.

BMW “Persistent Erection” Lawsuit Dismissed

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

The Superior Court of San Francisco has dismissed lawsuits against BMW and Corbin-Pacific Inc. brought on by a man who claimed a motorcycle ride gave him an erection that lasted for several months. The story made headlines and drew much ridicule after the man said vibrations from his 1993 BMW K1100RS and Corbin aftermarket seat resulted in a case of priapism, a condition in which a penis remains erect for a prolonged period of time.

Fake motorcycle police. Why?

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

People who like to pretend they're police baffle me and annoy me in equal measure. I took this picture the other day at Cobham, about to join the A3 heading to Guildford. I guessed that the guy on the left had just bought his rather fetching BMW off the guy on the right.
