1979 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper (1979)
1979 Custom Honda Chopper. I purchased this bike at the Mecum Auction last year and just don't have time to ride it and need space in my garage. Honestly I don't know much about the bike but it does run and drive good. I believe it is a 750cc engine and it has a kick start with a side arm shift (or you can use the foot pedal shifter) and rides nice. It starts right up and I've had it on the highway and all over town. It is definitely a unique bike with a cool look! I don't know that I'd take this bike across country but if you're looking for a fun weekend toy this is what you need. :) I bought this bike because it was inexpensive and had a cool look... now I'm selling it because I need space in my garage and I have to many toys. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Bonnier Corp., Owners Of Cycle World, Acquire Nine Source Interlink Titles, Including Motorcyclist
Mon, 20 May 2013Bonnier Corporation, owner of Cycle World, Popular Science and Field & Stream magazines, among others, has just inked a deal with Source Interlink Media, acquiring nine of SIM’s motorcycle titles. Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.
