Due to the success in Europe and the demand in the USA market the XR1200 was made available in the US for the 2009 model year.

For sale is a 2009 Harley Davidson XR1200 built for racing in the AMA Vance and Hines XR1200 series.  The bike was built and is maintained by Spyke’s Harley-Davidson in Frankfort, Indiana.  The bikes comes ready to race.  Some of highlighted parts include: Gilles Rear-Sets,  Chicken Hawk Tire Warmers, Ohlins Steering Dampner, Pit Bull front and rear stands, Vesrah brake pads, Race Tech Suspension, Dunlap tires, Shorai battery, XL clutch, Vance and Hines XR120 race kit, and many more additional Vance and Hines parts. I have no title, but you can apply for a lost title via DMV. 2009 XR1200 Harley Davidson Sportster Harley Davidson decided to build a street oriented replica of the iconic XR750 race bike so in 2008 H-D developed the XR1200 for the European market. During 2009 and 2010 only 750 XR1200's were built.  The XR1200 has 4 piston Nisson front calipers, 43 mm inverted forks and an Aluminum cast swing arm with lightweight wheels.

 2009 Harley-Davidson Nightster XL1200N with 1705 miles.  Bike is all stock, matte black and matte silver in color in excellent condition.

This 2009 XR1200 is 1 of the 750 Orange bikes produced for the U.S. on the first year of stateside production.  The only hard changes to stock are the addition of a rear fender elimination kit with a LED brake light and LED blinkers (I do still have the original rear fender and lights).

Original headlight connector soldered and heat shrink protected onto new light.  Seat: The V&H seat pan comes with bottom & rear marine grade padding as used in other racing applications.  It is surprisingly comfortable and I have taken two hour rides on it with no comfort concerns. Number plates: The rear left and right number plates are painted on and clear coated.  The number "3" is not cleared, nor is the AMA racing decal, and they can both be removed in seconds.  The front number plate "3" is also not cleared and all decals on this number plate can be removed with ease.

Great shape, tires are good shape just changed the front.  It has a new battery, and it has low mileage on it.
