Honda CR description

For sale is my Fathers 1998 CR250R, the bike was purchased new and owned by him for the entire 18 yrs. He has had all makes and models over the past 20 yrs but this is the only one he kept until now, health reasons are the only reason its for sale. The bike was ported and polished by Pro-Circuit and had Front and Rear suspension re-valved by Factory Connection in 1999, bike also includes a full FMF exhaust, Renthal Bars and Grip Guards. This bike is faster and handles better than the current 450s. If you want something different and faster than the current crop of 450s at the track than this bike is for you.....again this bike is very fast and not for beginning riders. Also a huge plus of a 2 stoke bike over the 4 stroke is the low cost to operate and maintain.....no valves to adjust and less internal parts to break .I have full confidence that once you see this bike and start it you will be hooked. This bike is also listed locally so I have the right to end the auction at anytime. Item is pickup only.

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.

Rossi runs special Simoncelli tribute helmet

Sun, 06 Nov 2011

During the 10 o'clock trial laps today, Valentino ran with a new helmet dedicated to his friend Marco Simoncelli. To demonstrate how much Valentino was affected by the tragedy that hit the Honda rider, Valentino's helmet will be divided in half: the front part of the AGV GP-Tech will be exactly like Marco Simoncelli's, with its red and white motif and ever present number 58, while the back will maintain the colours Valentino used throughout the 2011 season. Vale will use the helmet for all of Valencia's weekend.
