Low miles on the bike, the sidecar is an older 80s model. In great shape for its age but I will note this is not a show bike, it gets ridden and has scratches and scrapes and is over 11 years old. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.

The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness.
