Special Edition MV Agusta F3 Serie Oro Revealed

MV Agusta has revealed a special edition “Serie Oro” version of its upcoming 675cc supersport, the F3, for those who think owning a regular MV Agusta F3 isn’t exclusive enough. Following with company tradition, the “Serie Oro” (Italian for “Gold Series”) F3 features several upgrades over the standard model, and will be produced in a limited run of 200 units  to be released ahead of the regular F3. The MV Agusta F3 Serie Oro is distinguishable by its gold-painted swingarm and aluminum wheels, and gold finish on air intakes, vents and a gold chain, minimalist graphics and red-painted mirrors.

Charlotte, N.C., writer and motorcycle adventurer Tamela Rich is heading out on a cross-country ride to raise money for breast cancer causes. Along her tour, Rich will meet with breast cancer survivors and interview them for her upcoming book, “Live Full Throttle: What You Can Learn About Life From Women Who’ve Faced Cancer”. This will be Rich’s second tour across the country.

When the Massimo Tamburini-designed MV Agusta F4 was unveiled the world was enamoured with a beautiful piece of motorcycle art. Now Suomy has been inspired to incorporate the fairing design of the F4 into their helmet. The exclusive MV collaboration has been put on to the Spec 1R helmet from Suomy, so it includes an advanced airflow system and a D-ring helmet strap.

NO, IT'S NOT but we thought you'd like a shufti at this: a 1968 MV 600 4. Looking more BMW than MV Agusta, the forty-two-year-old 600 features a gorgeous sandcast DOHC inline four engine, shaft drive, cable-operated front disc brakes and some rather bizarre styling. Weird, eh?

2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 joins the Spyder Club

THE 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 will join Spyder Club's fleet at the beginning of next month, just in time for the company's upcoming open days on 10th and 11th April. Join a limited  number of guests and members at Spyder Club, Donington Park for the Club's open day, starting with a visit to the Grand Prix Museum followed by lunch. ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

Evening All, Whit here, live from the launch of the 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 - a 186bhp 998cc inline-four, with a revised chassis and electronics package, including an eight-stage traction control system. Although the bike looks almost the same as previous incarnations, MV say the F4's different from the ground up. With specs like that it should be well impressive.

2010 MV Agusta Brutale 990R and 1090RR First Impressions

MV Agusta has revealed the latest iterations of its Brutale naked sportbikes. Although looking much like the previous 989R and 1078RR, these new editions have been full overhauled with revisions to their four-cylinder engines and significant chassis tweaks. Both versions use a lighter engine crankcase than before, and both have names that suggest a displacement different than what is actually under the tank.
