1975 Honda CB 750 "Old Custom" 20,000 miles (1975)
This is an older custom job on a 1975 750. I bought this a short time ago because of the uniqueness of the bike. This was customized about 30 years ago. The gentleman that customized and owned it, recently passed away. I purchased it from his family. I was going to restore it, exactly the way it is but I'm just too busy and I won't have time for this one for quite awhile. I'll describe the bike the best that I can. It is an older restoration. The paint looks to be lacquer and the tank is beginning to crack. The tank shows some light scuffs and a couple of small dings. No major dents. The side cover have chips and cracks. The engine runs fine. The bike shows 20,000 plus miles. The starter button has been moved to a push button on the tree, opposite the key ignition. The chrome valve cover is in very good condition as is almost all of the chrome. The air box was replaced with velocity stacks. The headers are 4 into one but a little faded and with a dent or two. I found a baffle for the muffler, which quiets it down considerably. The clutch engages firmly. Both tires are newer. 1981 Honda Hawk CB400T Cafe Racer (1981)
I am selling a 1981 Honda Hawk with roughly 8800 miles on it, The bike is a very unique and one of a kind. Many of the features include; custom rear seat section with a custom upholstered seat pan, All brackets on frame have been shaved and the electronics have been relocated to under the seat, the battery has been replaced with a gel battery so it could be mounted on the side, It has custom rear sets, new grips, handlebars, sprocket, tires, turn signals, spark plugs, air filters, oil, breather filters, both carbs have been cleaned and all jets replaced, all new fuel lines, new mufflers, both headers have been fiberglass wrapped, new brake master cylinder reservoir and rebuild kit, new clutch and brake levers, new mirrors on handle bars, it also has the tail light and license plate relocated to the side of the swing arm, new headlight brackets and both side case gaskets replaced. The wheels on the back have been freshly painted with lip hand polished. The main color of the bike is a white pearl with a black metallic stripe. The frame , wheels and miscellaneous brackets are painted in black metallic also. Both side cases on the engine and the top cam cover has been taken off and hand polished. The bike is very clean and well maintained. The bike was also featured in the April issue of (VJMC) Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, it had a 3 page article in the magazine explaining the build. 2007 Honda 919 (2007)
For sale is my Honda 919 Original adult (somewhere over 60) owner...no wheelies, no redlining. Has the only two Hondaline accessories available at the time...wind screen and center stand. Added LSL sliders, otherwise, unit is bone stock. Has been one of my two daily drivers to work and has really never had a tough day and most of the miles are expressway 6th gear type of miles. That being said it has been Honda appliance like dependable. Has not required anything other than routine maintenance. Speaking of routine maintenance...had the 16K service done at 19700. Okay it was a bit late, but what that gets you is new tires, top end valve check ( they were right on the money and did not require any work), oil, oil filter, 4 spark plugs, air cleaner, flush and fill coolant, and flush and fill brake fluid. Basically over $1000 in parts and labor back on May 15th. This 919 is ready to go. NO RESERVE. Forgot to take a picture of it, but there is also a tank bag that will go along with the bike. Being a work vehicle I have required it to be in top mechanical form and generally the bike looks okay. I strap a lunch bag on the back and unfortunately I managed to get some scrapes on the rear cowl under the tie downs. Had a couple of bungee straps lose their protective rubber end and didn't realize it until I managed to make the marks. Then there are the exhaust pipes. Right where they pick up everything from the road and heat it to stay. Have tried to clean them over the years, but they look the way most of these pipes look after a few years. I live a bit north of Cincinnati, Ohio and would be willing to meet or deliver the bike within a reasonable area, say 50 miles or so, after payment. CARB Certifies 2015 Honda NC700X – Still No 750 Engine in Sight
Tue, 07 Oct 2014American consumers hoping Honda would replace its NC700X with the larger-displacement NC750X will be disappointed to know they might have to wait until the 2016 model year to get the 75cc engine upgrade. The California Air Resources Board has granted an executive for the 2015 Honda NC700X, certifying the motorcycle for sale in the state with the same 670cc engine displacement it had since being introduced in the 2012 model year. Now, this doesn’t mean Honda won’t decide to certify the 745cc engine after all; manufacturers resubmit and recertify models all the time, often replacing models are adding additional model using the same engine.
