    Up for auction is a 2009 V-Max.  It has 11,891 miles.  Front tire has 1,000 miles on it.  Rear tire has about 2,500 miles on it.  It has Power Commander 5, Mike's X Pipe, FXtuner's Speedo Eliminator and Exup Eliminator, Corbin passenger seat and backrest, fender eliminator with smoke LED tail light, UFO air suspension, new battery, factory Yamaha touring windshield, Rizoma LED turn signals, K&N air filter, have all factory parts to go with bike.  Have had many parts powder coated black. Bike is very fast and not for beginners.  Fluids changed religiously at 3,500 miles.  All factory recalls completed.  Aftermarket mirrors (more stylish).  Only reason for selling, have decided to grow up and slow down a little and bought a Harley Road Glide.  Was going to keep this bike and use it for playing, but cannot justify a bike to sit and go to waste and not be enjoyed (who am I kidding, my wife said I couldn't have both).  Bike has normal scuffs for the age of the bike.  Will assist with delivery between Valdosta and Panama City when deposit is made (deposit is non-refundable).  Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove this listing, may also have a few extra miles if taking one last play ride.     Up for auction is a low mileage, nice 2002 Yamaha V-max.    I bought the bike from a salvage-yard approximately 3 years ago and rebuilt it.  The bike was laid down on its right side.  No motor or frame damage occurred during this accident.  The radiator, water pump, right side pegs, mirror and handle bar were replaced (see attached photographs).  The tip of the end of the  exhaust has a small area of abrasion approximately 1" in size (see pictures).   An authorized Yamaha Dealer inspected, tested and tuned the bike before I started riding it.  I also put a low profile custom seat and a super brace on the front fork.  I have ridden the bike lightly over the past 2 1/2 years. It is too strong a bike for me to feel comfortable riding.  Note that this is a very strong running motorcycle and I recommend that only experienced riders bid on it.   I have priced this bike to sell.  Please text me and I will be happy to provide additional details.  This is a chance for someone to own a great super-cruiser bike for a relatively low price.  I encourage potential buyers to consider a visit to look at the bike.  Please ask questions to avoid any misunderstandings.  Thank you for looking.

    Selling my awesome VMax.  It is time.  Wicked fast.  Holeshot 4-1 exhaust and muffler, after market shocks (original shocks included), new rear high mileage tire, Corbin seat, and a BrakeAway cruise control.  The bike has been down a couple of times as you would expect when you have a fast bike like this.  It also has some years on it, so it is pretty clear the bike is used, and has scrapes and dings.  The front tire still has some life but should be replaced.  The engine is super fast, loud, and fun to ride.  The bike occasionally has been slipping out of 2nd gear.  I most often just ride up the revs in first gear and then shift to 3rd.  This issue can be corrected with a tear down, but as this is no longer my daily ride, and it did not bother me, I have not done anything to correct it.  Currently registered non op, Located in Palm Springs, and also listed locally.  I had to relist the bike.  The guy who purchased the bike never contacted me, nor responded to any emails.

    Hi folks, you are looking at my 99 vmax, been in our family since new, bike is mechanically stock, and she runs great, I installed a new starter clutch last year. Before you let the mileage scare you, these bikes are known to go well over 100k miles before needing a overhaul, this  engine runs smooth and makes lots of power, I will note there is a small oil leak underneath, but I can't honestly say where it's coming from, it doesn't drip on the garage, but I can smell it at times. I would guess maybe the shifter seal. the clutch is good and the transmission has NO shifting issues.

    Up for auction is 1997 Yamaha V-Max 1200! This VMAX was purchased in Summer 2006 with 6,000 miles on it.  It is a very fast bike:  professionally tuned with an aftermarket SuperTrap Exhaust.  It is in excellent condition, it has never been dropped or damaged.  I have had it up to speed but have always taken care not to abuse it.  The 1997 is the Gunmetal Grey model and in my opinion is the best color the bike has ever come in.  This is the original V-Max, produced from 1985-2009.  I have always had servicing done by a professional, just prior to this listing the motorcycle was serviced and a new battery was installed.  It has been garage kept since I purchased it and barely ridden the last 2 years.  The motorcycle is mostly stock but it does include the supertrap exhast and a very wicked smoked black windshield.   If you are looking for a clean, mean, fun, dependable motorcycle you can't go wrong with this one.

    this is a restored 1985 yamah vmax.  the bike runs great, looks great and sounds great.  people are always checking it out when driving by or parked. has a custom paint job...except for some small things, we really tried to bring the bike back to its former glory.  the speedometer is not the original one, i had to buy a used one so the mileage is not correct.  i have had the bike for about 2 years and put 6000 miles on it.  when i say that it has been restored, the cases have been split and we replaced bearings, went throughout the entire engine and made sure that it was sound.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.

Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
