Up for auction is my 1984 Honda scooter, I will give as much information as accurately and effectively as I can to the best of my knowledge so please read everything below and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Currently in running and driving condition, current California registration and clear title in my name.Odometer shows about 410 miles and has not rolled over as far as I know.Most, if not all accessories still function properly (I.e. Headlight, taillight, brake light, turn signals, horn, ignition switch with key, kill switch, electric start).Tires hold air but are weather-cracked and likely original from 1984 so replacement of all 3 tires would be advised before expecting dependability.Latch for seat is included but not attached due to lock housing damage on plastic side cover, seat opens freely.Fuel tank has minimal surface rust but does not seem to adversely affect fuel flow or overall function.Fuel petcock has been replaced with incorrect part so fuel flow/stop may only be accessed by removing plastic side cover and/or long needle-nose pliers. There's nothing wrong with the scooter; I don't use it much anymore since I moved to NY so I figure I'll sell it instead of watching it sit sadly in the driveway. Could use a good wash and wax, but other than a bit damage from a condo sticker on the left hand protector is in very good shape. Was kept covered outside (in Florida) when not in use. Never crashed, never flooded or damaged. Legally carries a passenger, and can go highway speeds (I've gotten it up over 60mph). Still has FL plates, but since has had all scheduled maintenance should have no problem passing inspection. Up for grabs is a 2004 Honda ST1300 that's had plenty of use but runs beautifully. These bikes have nice features such as electronic windshield and saddlebags as well as several extras including a Sargent seat, GI Pro Gear Indicator, Bar Risers with Ram ball and powerlet, MCL fork brace, Oxford heated grips and more. I'm the second owner of the bike and the previous owner took care of the bike as well. However, it has over 100,000 miles and has hit lots of bugs and what-not so there are several scratches and dings as expected from a bike with this many miles. Up for auction is a good running XL250 4 cycle scrambler that came with a collection of bikes I purchased. I had the bike gone thru last summer and it hasn't been run since then. it had the gas tank flushed and sealed, carb rebuilt, new plugs and points, and battery. (Although the battery is now dead, I'm not sure if you can bring it back or not) The bike runs great and only has a relatively low 10,000 miles. CARB Certifies 2015 Honda NC700X – Still No 750 Engine in Sight
Tue, 07 Oct 2014American consumers hoping Honda would replace its NC700X with the larger-displacement NC750X will be disappointed to know they might have to wait until the 2016 model year to get the 75cc engine upgrade. The California Air Resources Board has granted an executive for the 2015 Honda NC700X, certifying the motorcycle for sale in the state with the same 670cc engine displacement it had since being introduced in the 2012 model year. Now, this doesn’t mean Honda won’t decide to certify the 745cc engine after all; manufacturers resubmit and recertify models all the time, often replacing models are adding additional model using the same engine.
