    Hard to find 1978 Kawasaki Z1R, Kawasaki's entry into the Superbike war of 1978.  Good running, well kept bike.  Bike was painted black sometime in the 1980's and the stripe kit to duplicate the 1980 Z1R paint job was added later.  There are small nicks and dings but is still shiny and presentable.  Seat is cover is a very nice newer duplicate.  Exhaust is a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 that's a few years old and in very good condition.  Not real loud but has a nice sound.  Bike runs good, tank is clean inside and it has no oil or gas leaks.  Tires are older but serviceable.  Original kickstarter lever that belongs under the seat is gone and stock windshield was replaced 2 years ago.  Have the little chrome cover that goes over the seat lock but the spring is missing.  Fresh oil change and new battery.  Everything works but the fuel gauge.  Overall a good rider quality bike or a good candidate for full restoration.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  Please check shipping costs before you bid.  On Oct-03-16 at 16:54:47 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention that the tachometer may not be original.  That could be the case.  There could be other items replaced, repaired or missing too as this is a 38 year old bike that I have only owned a short time.  This is not being advertised as a completely original or pristine bike.

    Up for consideration is an incredible all original 1974 Kawasaki G5 100 with 101 original miles (never registered). Stored for decades.  The bike runs beautifully and is fully functional.  The tank, seat, plastics, paint and decals are mint.  The bike is street legal as it has all the necessary lights which along with the speedometer and horn are fully functional.  There is some very minor pitting to the rims, handle bars and luggage rack and there is also some very minor paint damage to some of the painted black parts (all as a result of storage).  All these parts would be very easy to remove and restore if desired or leave as is.  The exhaust and tires are perfect. This is incredible one of kind find which will satisfy the most discerning collector/enthusiast.

    1976 Kawasaki S3-Has new paint job on the gas tank and side plates- exhaust look very good and the chrome looks great to be over 40 years old. I have four of  the S3's and am selling off several bikes over  the  next few weeks . This  bike  has a new seat cover and it has not been installed yet, brought it home to clean it up and clean the carbs again- The tank has been clean but the carbs will need to be cleaned and the air box put back on,  the engine cases have  been polished by hand and look great I might go over them one  more time.

One notable is the lower triple tree i replaced with a 72 h2 item because i saw what i felt was a structural flaw in the original.

    1975 Kawasaki Z1  Frame # Z1F-60827 Engine # Z1E-060898 Bike starts, runs, steers and stops .  It came to me about a year ago and I have been picking away at it. Has new, rings, valves, valve seals, intake manifolds, cam chain, ND spark plugs,air filter, oil and filter,fuel lines,battery and  carbs rebuilt. Just about every part has some form of rust,scrapes or scratches.

     this is a nice original kz 1000 with 14000.0 runs good from what i can tell the engine has never been out of it and the covers look like they have never been off  bought this bike from a guy that told me that it was his brothers girl friends bike got to believe it because it doesnt look like it has been road hard the bike in general looks great it was garage kept the carbs were drained when i checked the floats they looked great the brakes work good the bike is a great bike for someone that wants a bike from the past

    Published almost everywhere, It starts as a 1978 KZ650 where the cylinders have been bored and sleeved to 830cc with a MTC big bore kit from the late 70s. The upper case has been machined as well. This was a complete case split rebuilt documented with pictures (uploaded on my website) The turbo kit is from ATP American Turbo Pak (ATP branded intake manifold, turbocharger RayJay F40 and exhaust manifold and pipe), just like the one that equipped the Kawasaki Z1R-TC back in 1978-79.

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.

Kawasaki added a new limited edition 30th Anniversary Ninja model, revealing the 2015 ZX-14R in a special Firecracker Red and Metallic Graystone color scheme based on the colors of the original 1984 Ninja 900, the company’s first fully-faired sportbike. Kawasaki had previously announced 30th anniversary editions of the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, both bearing green livery remembering the company’s World Superbike and Supersport racers. Only 300 units of the limited edition Ninja ZX-14R will be produced for the U.S.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
